For surface-mounted installation: Fix the plate to the ceiling with screws (not supplied). Connect the supply cable to the fast connector. And use screws to fix the cylinder downlight’s body onto the surface plates.
For hanging installation: Just fix the ropes onto the light body, and use the screws to fix the surface hardware onto the ceiling.
